Yoga for Golfers

Golf demands concentration, strength and flexibility.

Yoga can help you achieve this. We will create a program specifically tailored to you that will promote core stability, strengthen your back, increase flexibility in the joints and address the muscular imbalance created through the repetitive motion of the golfers swing on one side of the body. In addition you will learn to use your breath to assist in your movements, create clarity of mind and increase your concentration.

We can offer private lessons or alternatively will be happy to run group sessions. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

Useful Information Before You Attend Class

Please take a minute to read the following information which will make your experience in classes more enjoyable.

  • Please advise your teacher if you have any health conditions, injuries or are pregnant. This will enable us to advise you on alternative postures and ensure you stay safe
  • It is advisable not to eat for around 2 hours before class although a snack is ok.
  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing and have a something warm to wear for relaxation at the end of practice
  • Please try to arrive a few minutes early for class so that you can begin in a relaxed frame of mind.
  • Please switch off your mobile phones
